How I got started.......

HOW I GOT STARTED.........

I was admiring arrangements at a reception party for a friend. I decided to ask the hotel staff what actually happens to the flowers. Do they move them to the lobby for the enjoyment of the guests? I was told "oh no, we don't keep them." So an idea was born; why not ask to take the flowers back to my shop, redesign them & give them back to the community. Why not? Who wouldn't like fresh flowers especially in a nursing home dining room or a local school lobby. That's how "Vermont recycles Flowers "got started. With the generosity of flower donations and a little talent from Chappell's Florist designers and local volunteers, we are sharing flowers, still full of life, with members of our community who will really enjoy them. recycleflowers@yahoo.com

FAVORITE Burlington florist CHAPPELLS FLOWER SHOP delivers colorful roses and Scented lilies to local businesses and non-profits including the VET CENTER S. BURLINGTON VT.

Todays "gift" flowers from Vermont recycles flowers were delivered by our super Chappell's driver, Joan, to Dorothy Alling Libraty 21 Library ln., Williston right next to Williston Central school in Williston village, Vt. We also delivered to Whitney Hill Homestead 100 Whitney Hill, Williston, Goodwill 329 Harvest lane, Williston, and V.A. Center 359 Dorset st. south Burlington Vt.
Flowers in todays bouquets included scented spray carnations, red roses, delphinium, lilies, carnations, and statice.......they loved them!

STYLISH FLOWERS CHAPPELLS FLORIST nearest fletcher allen hospital presents special roses.

Today our flower elves delivered 3 bouquets of roses to Fletcher Allen Hospital FAHC 111 Colchester avenue Burlington, Vermont 05401. The roses included Kiko Pink roses, Konfetti Yellow roses, Summer Eve Purple roses, Freedom red roses, Eskimo white roses, and fragrant Garden roses for the enjoyment of the staff at the local hospital and patients who have family or friends in ICU. The open, fragrant, happy blooms should bring some summer cheer to all.

We love to share flowers with new folks. Today we delivered our recycled flowers to King Street Center. The flowers are received in the reception area and todays bouquets were created with recycles flowers including ipurple iris, lavender and purple larkspur, pale pink asters, mauve gladioli, and green lisianthus. One of our favorite places to take our recycled flowers is Hope Lodge. The flowers are shared in the reception area, on the dining room tables, and in the living area of folks staying at the Lodge. Today bouquets were delivered created with purple iris, lavender and purple larkspur, pale pink asters, mauve gladioli, and green lisianthus. We wish everyone there the very best!
