Our goal is to design bouquets each week for the ICU waiting rooms at the Fletcher Allen hospital . 3 were delivered on Wednesday, and we hope they bring some cheer to those visiting relatives and friends.

I have been asked the difference between flowers shipped in a box from a flower production warehouse and our custom designs. Even though Vermont recycles Flowers does send out cut flowers in boxes, I receive much nicer appreciation notes from the folks who get flowers designed in a vase. I also believe that the "Buy local " is not only good for the community but good for the environment. Mother's day flowers will be designed and delivered by our volunteers throughout the week.

Our hospital flower delivery today- Tulips, iris, red roses, daisies, yellow roses, and delphinium were some of the fabulous flowers donated to Vermont recycles flowers this week. Many of the vases we designed went to Fletcher Allen Health Care.
